Internet problems—more specifically DNS problems—at

's house, where I'm staying this weekend. I'm accessing LiveJournal through a text-based browser via an ssh connection. I knew there was a reason I ask for shell accounts.

For future reference, you can manually set your DNS server to 8.8.8.8 (or 4.2.2.[1-6]).

There's no reason to un-set it if you are using 8.8.8.8; Google provides 8.8.8.8 for general use, and it's intended to be good, fast, and secure.
