So the way it works is iTunes generates a bunch of randomly selected songs for me; I pick a line or so from each of them; and then you guys have to identify the song title and performer or show without Googling or whatnot. I skipped any songs where there weren't any lyrics I would recognize. Unsolved ones are in bold.
Have fun!
Have fun!
- He talks softly of his wars and his horses and his whores....
- May you be like Ruth and like Esther; may you be deserving of praise.
- The world may be ugly, but each man must do what he must.
- Now everybody's died, so until our tears are dried, we'll drink and drink and drink and drink...
- And so many people much smarter than I just can't see why this troubles me so, 'cause they don't feel the joy of one who knows...
- There I will crown Miss Chinatown! All yours for ten percent down!
- Glücklich zu sehen! Je suis enchanté! Fijn dat u hier bent!
- That lucky star I talk about is due!
- Who will ever call to say "I love you," send me flowers or a telegram?
- I'm their savior—that's what they call me, so Lauren Bacall me!
- And oh, the shame! Thought of changing my name! And I got downhearted!
- Just imagine someone waiting at the cottage door....
- Does enchantment pour out of every door?
- They're having this ball all in masks; there's no one she knows there, poor dear....
- Aren't they nice? Never think by looking at them that he and his brother own Macy's department store!
- When there's hardly no day nor hardly no night, there's things half in shadow and halfway in light.
- Roll down your windows, turn up your radios, un momento, por favor.
- We got a winner, but what good is that to us? Not if he doesn't feel grateful for our support.
- .ואחרי ככלות הכל, לבדו ימלוך נורא
- I may not have a lot to give, but what I got I'll give to you.
- It's hard to play a saxophone with something in your hand!
- You're alone and your scared, but the banquet's all prepared!
- I was a bayman like my father was before; can't make a living as a bayman anymore.
- Special people doing special things, running rings around any pair, anywhere....
- Maybe I'll blow my brains out, mama... or maybe I'll just go bowling instead.

12. Not quite, but you're in the right ballpark.
15. Oh man. "I Have Dreamed" is from The King and I. This is part of the medley with "I Must Get On That Ship", so I'll be generous to you on judging this as you were generous to me; the name of the track is "The First Class Roster".
All others right.
