I see, to my disappointment, that there are no Google hits for either "Jar Jar R. Martin" or "I love the gavagai and it loves me."

My faith in the Internet has gone down a couple pegs again.

I don't recognize the second thing.

Although I did attempt to clue "Gavagai" in a Botticelli game recently, on the theory that it might mean the name of that particular rabbit (something like, "is there a small possibility that you're a rabbit in an aboriginal forest?"). Warren knew the answer but controversy ensued. Ultimately it was decided that the question was worth a fraction of a chance at a real question comparable to the chance of Gavagai being a name, which was set, by mutual consent, at 1/20. Sadly I did not get the question. But I enjoyed the discussion surrounding it in any case.

Ah, okay.
The fact that I haven't heard of a jazz standard totally doesn't signify. thanks for the pointer.

Have you considered getting a bunch of people (by which I mean linguists, really) to order custom shirts of 'I love the gavagai and it loves me' and try to start a movement from the ground? 'Cause I'd totally go in for that.
