midnight_sidhe and I were discussing various horrible people we know. We had just come to someone particularly unpleasant when Roommate D. put in: "Wow, if you guys agree, she must be pretty terrible!"
We're like, "What?" (I mean, are we likely to disagree?)
He says, "I mean, you're both normally so positive about people!"
...
Later, he says he looks thinner than he is because he has a long neck. "It's a trompe l'œil I was born with."—a turn of phrase I quite liked, actually.
