I need to clean out my backpack

So, on scanning my backpack at airport security today, the CATSA agent pulled it aside for manual inspection. "Do you have a bunch of spoons in here? And a mouth organ—a harmonica?" he asked? I said, "I don't think so?" And then he opened the bag and pulled them out and I'm like, oh, yeah, I guess I do, I remember putting those spoons in there, years ago.

I really need to clean out that pocket of my bag, if it's reached the point where it's getting pulled aside for specialized searches.

Is there a security limit to how many spoons you can have in carry-on luggage?

Apparently not! I think he was just checking that there wasn't a knife hiding among them.

(I can't count the number of times I've been through airport security since putting those spoons in there two years ago, but this is the first time someone felt they warranted extra inspection!)
