So, Brad Pitt has joined Matt Damon and Ben Affleck on the list of actors who have won Oscars for movies that they have acted in but not for acting in them. I bet there are others; who?

(Lin-Manuel Miranda and Bob Martin have done the same with Tony Awards.)

Woody Allen for "Annie Hall" and "Hannah and Her Sisters".

I guess it's not uncommon for an actor to direct or write a movie they're in, so you get a bunch in directing and writing categories. Here's some more I found:
- Clint Eastwood for "Million Dollar Baby" and "Unforgiven"
- Mel Gibson for "Braveheart"
- Kevin Costner for "Dances with Wolves"
- Warren Beatty for "Reds"
- Aaron Sorkin for "The Social Network" (sketchy, but he does act in it)
- Billy Bob Thornton for "Sling Blade"
- Emma Thompson for "Sense and Sensibility"
- Quentin Tarantino for "Django Unchained" and "Pulp Fiction"

Producing but *not* directing or writing is very unusual. Perhaps Brad Pitt is the only one?
