dr_whomLast night Uz asked me if he could borrow my laptop for a few minutes, since his was out of power and he had destroyed the power cord. No problem, I say, and hand over the— wait a minute, destroyed the power cord?
Yes, he says; he did it so that he would stop wasting time online all day instead of working. But then his laptop died when he was just about to send an important e-mail, so now he needed to borrow mine so he could send it.
He has no intention, he says, of getting a new power cord.
