Another strange encounter

dr_whomSo by 8:30am, roommate D. is leaving the house for what seems to be the fourth time that morning.
me: You seem to have been in and out several times this morning already.
D.: Well, first I went for a run, and I left my wallet here for that. Then I went to pick up some milk from the grocery store. Then I went to go and study, but I realized my wallet was still here from step 1, so I came back to get it.

D.: [pause] Maybe I got the order of operations wrong there.
