I think we used the same sketchy Russian website with mistakes! It definitely led us astray at some point.
We also used multiple browser windows in Twitch Plays Mystery Hunt. And, while I was there, about three people in one room and two people in New York on Skype. Having everyone in the same place probably would have made it easier.
